I’ll admit that I was hesitant, based upon size and durometer, to add these wheels to my recent SuperSonic complete purchase – based upon my experience with another wheel manufacturer’s product with the same size/durometer product that left me pushing four marshmallow-like globs of urethane that ovalized (and never rebounded as advertised) under load and wrapped themselves around every obstacle. A couple of emails back-and-forth with Jeff convinced me to go ahead and pull the trigger (after all, what’s another set of wheels to have in rotation?) and I have to say that these “might as well” wheels have since become my daily riders. My normal LDP routes feature lots of hills/elevation gain and widely-varied terrain. These wheels stay smooth and fast over every surface, suck up gaps/cracks with ease, hold a tight grip on fast, speed-scraping carves on the long downhills, and continue to maintain form and accelerate under the hardest of efforts. Planning on picking up an extra set as I’m sure that, as word gets out, these will be in high demand.
